First of all, HP has removed the NVidia ION LE option and replaced it with the full NVidia ION which (I am sure) will please a lot of people out there. The NVidia ION LE, while it isn’t significantly weaker in performance than the ION, it does not have DX10 support like that of the ION.
UPDATE: Windows 7 Home Premium is now the option, Windows 7 Starter has been taken down.
Now Windows 7 Starter is an option for Operating System, I expect that in the future there will be the other Windows 7 packages like Basic, Home Premium and Professional options.
You can also choose between 1GB, 2GB and 3GB RAM for the Mini. Please note that 1GB is on-board, meaning there is an empty (1) slot for RAM if you choose the 1GB option leaving you the choice of adding in a 1GB stick or 2GB stick. According to HP, 3GB total is the MAX amount of RAM.
Finally there are new Hard Drive options to go with:
An 80GB solid-state-drive is expected to be an option sometime in the near future, but it is not currently available.
