Peter at Netbooked has posted his review of the HP Pavilion DM1 with a dual-core Intel SU2300. The HP Pavilion DM1 is almost the same as the HP Mini 311, except for technical features and specifications.

Overall, Peter was impressed by the HP Pavilion DM1 and its performance (such as 1080p HD playback). A summary of his review can be found below, with the whole review in complete detail, pictures and tests at Netbooked.

The HP Pavilion DM1 fares decently in the 11.6-inch notebook space. Stand out features include fantastic audio (thanks to Altec Lansing), low fan noise, solid no flex keyboard and a great microphone. Battery life is decent, for the size: 4.5 hours with it’s 6-cell battery.

You’ve also got all the goodies that come with this form factor – very small and compact, not that much larger and heavier than a netbook but you get a 1366 x 768 display that is comfortable to use and better performance than any netbook that can handle 1080p YouTube videos and other formats (H.264, WMV9 etc).

The HP Pavilion DM1 is not yet available in the United States, so pricing is not definite but its going to be priced higher than the HP Mini 311. For more information about the DM1 head over to the forum section.
