Win7 on HP Mini - is it better coming out of sleep & wifi??

My question in regards to upgrading to Win7 has to do with waking up from hibernation & sleep mode. My HP mini1035NR, takes a long time to wake up from hibernation, and sometimes, if I click the button once to many times, it'll wake up and then go back into hibernation. It's also clunky the way it goes into hibernation from sleep, I'll hear the alert to hibernate, about 15 min after sleep mode kicked in. Lastly, upon waking up, about 20% of the time, I have to re connect to my wifi network... maybe I'm just to use to my macbook, and I'm spoiled with wakeup and reconnection... but XP was not designed for wifi.

Has anyone noticed improvements in Win 7 with this wake up speed from hibernation, and better reconnection to default wifi network??

All advice is much appreciated... happy Memorial Day people!!!

    Check this out:

    Troubleshoots Sleep Mode Problems
Ever wonder why your laptop's battery seems to die too quickly? The Windows Help blog points out a hidden command-line switch that generates a report with loads of helpful troubleshooting information.
The report lists all of the devices that are causing problems with sleep mode, explains the different power saving modes your computer supports, and even gives you detailed information on your battery—invaluable information when your system takes forever to go in and out of sleep mode. Generating the report is easy enough—just open up a command prompt in administrator mode using the context menu -> Run as Administrator option, and then type in the following:
    powercfg -ENERGY
Once you've examined the report, you can figure out if you need to do some tweaking or update a driver.

Ok, well I am running the release candidate, and not once have I had any issues waking up or going to sleep. Ever, so I'd say that is an improvement from Windows XP.

Running the 210 with Win7, wifi opens immediately after logging in, without issues. This is quite different from my experience with XP. The current web page is still active without interruption or refreshing issues.
