No benches as yet, but I picked up and installed:
-My 80GB Intel SSD
-WWAN card (UNlocked Qualcomm Gobi 1000)
-WWAN antenna kit
-Broadcomm a/b/g/n-draft mini-wifi card
I have to say, using a bluetooth headset and mouse is nice. The Intel SSD changes the dynamic of this laptop immensely, I had a Patriot Warp 32GB SSD unused from a previous Fujitsu Lifebook project and on USB in a Velocity enclosure it is pretty impressive as well, but the System Drive is simply amazing. As I recently upgraded my USB aircard to a Telus USB 306 on the new GSM network, I bit the bullet and dropped the coin for an unlocked Qualcomm Gobi 1000, while I was searchng for it on e-bay I tripped across the Broadcomm 4322 upgrade Wifi card for this lappy so I picked it up as well.
Took no getting used to being dongleless, it's pretty darn nice. The only real challenge was removing the bezel on the display to run the WWAN antennae. My big sausages work ok on the keyboard but as solid as this unit is, the front bexel on the display has amazingly thin plastic.
If the wife doesn't have much of a honey-do list this weekend I'll try and pop off some benches.
