    Uninstalling Worthless Apps?

Okay, well i successfully installed MIE (which isnt that bad) on my 1115nr. My question is, how do i uninstall the worthless crap it brought, like that mediastyle app. I went into the add/remove place but i was unable to find it in the list. Is there any tips on speeding up hp minis that are loaded with mie? its fast, but im curious if i could boost the speed more. With nothing (no third party stuff) on the comp, it came with about 10 gigs of free storage on a fresh boot.

I'd be real careful with it! I once uninstalled harbour using synaptic (in a terminal) and when it went, it took ALL the hp-specific stuff with it, including the network manager. I just backed up my data and reinstalled MIE instead of trying to fix it. So yeah, synaptic on the command line will do the trick, but it could be more complicated than you think. If you have success, make sure you post it!
