    Transcode AVCHD Camera recording to Apple TV 3 keeping original quality

    The new Apple TV 3 was released on March 7 with the new iPad 3. It can sync or stream movies, music and videos from a computer running iTunes as the old Apple TV and supports 1080p HD. You may have some AVCHD ( MTS/M2TS ) video files from Sony, Panasonic, Canon or other Camera. Thus why not transfer and play them on new Apple TV 3?

    Howere, the new Apple TV 3 only can play H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High or Main Profile level 4.0 or lower, Baseline profile level 3.0 or lower with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats. It means you have to convert AVCHD to Apple TV 3 compatible format with a third software Tool.
