Those blue LEDs

I should receive my 2140 tomorrow. From the pictures that I've seen, it should be festooned with those annoying blue LED's. I do prefer the white LED's that the 1000 has, even if they are a bit bright.

I'm thinking of just taking a fine tip black Sharpie to darken them. I've done this before and Sharpies tend to rub off over time or don't go on evenly. Any suggestions on how to dim these annoying lights? I'll mostly use the Mini at night.

I use duct tape on the trackpad button, I would give fingernail paint a try for the latch buttons, no guarantees.

Hey, good idea for the switches. Maybe I can find someone that has some silver or metallic fingernail polish. If it can work on my car paint, it can work on a laptop, right?

Those things are priceless actually I have a blackout the other night so i started a defrag and was able to navigate around the house using the light from the LED's quite easilly though i blinded my 2 year old son :lol: Thos things way are too bright, EH?
