I think a lot of us did. I know I did. So far I'm still happy with my purchase. Glad I went with the 6 cell -- 3 cell wouldn't have had the awesome battery life. I still need to put the 6 cell on the charger once a day. Be ready with a 2gb stick of RAM though -- It is a nice cheap upgrade..

Glad I waited. I pulled the trigger earlier this week after the price drop. I used a $500 AmEx gift card. So, with taxes and shipping I JUST made it.

how long did it take for others' to ship?

when i ordered mine at the original $479 price, it took a little over a week to ship, but once it shipped out of shanghai, it arrived within 2 days.

when i ordered one for my parents, the time frame for build was similar, but shipping from shanghai took a couple days extra (was also a bit cheaper for them too).
