Screen Resolution stuck at 800x600

Hi folks,

I've been able to set up OS X on my Mini 1033CL and everything seems to work great except for the fact that my resolution seems to be stuck at 800x600.

I read in the main tutorial that someone suggested downloading (and provided links to) video kexts but he was replying to someone that just installed iDeneb 1.3 on his Mini 700. Would these be the same kexts I would need for my 1033CL so I can get a slightly better resolution on my Mini?

I just want to verify before trying as I don't want to spend my time redoing everything if there's an easier method or if this isn't the method at all.

have you upgraded to 10.5.7 yet? I don't think anything extra should be required past following the guide and then when you update the OS to 10.5.7 it fixes itself

Well, I tried to but when I downloaded the 10.5.7 update from apple and tried to install it, it won't let me. It keeps telling me: "You cannot install Mac OS X Update on this volume. This volume does not meet the requirements for this update" but I'm not sure what I did wrong at this point. I've done the installation 3 times now following the guide on the site here and have been painstakingly careful to make sure to follow correctly sooo...clueless here lol

Nevermind. I'm a total goof. I figured it out lol I downloaded the wrong update. I didn't get the combo update so that's why it's giving me the error message. Downloading the combo update now and hopefully that will resolve this.
