    Re-Installing XP

    Right. Mate has the 311c and he needs to put XP back on. He has tried but it comes up saying no Hard Drive found!!

    Help!!!

    How can he install XP back on, step by step guide as he hasn't a clue and neither have i!!! Thanks

    you need to inject the nvidia IDE/SATA drivers into your XP installation with nlite.
    You can also add the latest Service pack with it.
    Then you have to create an USB stick for the Installation by using this tool: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nefyzniizmj
    The 311 won't boot from an burned ISO, don't know why, maybe its my external DVD drive's fault.

    What NexXxus said is right, however if you have an external DVD drive it should work (i think its either your 311 or your external drive if you can't) since my 360 HD-DVD drive works fine for installing XP and 7

    How do you go about 'Injecting' drivers?

    I really need a step by step guide.

    easy task, but if you want to integrate Service pack 3 to the XP installation, don't do this on Vista or 7!
    Use XP for this or your key will not accepted when you install the modified XP CD.
