I've tried looking around on this forum, as well as using the search, but I can't find an answer to my problem.
I have an HP Mini 1035NR. It had a HDD that busted from a drop. I figured I'd upgrade to a SSD drive. I chose the Super Talent 64GB SSD.
I installed it, but the netbook does not recognize it. The drive didn't come with a ZIF connector, so I'm trying to use the old connector that came with the HDD. The HDD is still recognized in the BIOS but it fails the tests and can't boot the OS.
I've been searching all over the net today nonstop for the past 6 hours and I am at my wits end to say the least. Unless the SSD is defective, I can't return it for a refund and I'm out $115. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? If so, how can I fix it?
Here's the link to the drive in question.
