    New to Linux

    Hi,

I've had my 1035 for a while now and even though im running windows 7 on it I'd like to give Linux (Ubuntu?) a try. My main concern is driver issues. Will my wireless, sound card and most importantly webcam work? Also I see a lot of different versions of Linux and I've no idea what the differences are between them and which one I should go for. Is the installation similar to that of win7 i.e. load it up on to a usb and install? Before i completely stop using win7 does give me the option to partition my hard drive during instalation so i can dual boot?

    Thanks for the help

EDIT: I went ahead and istalled Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10..everything works fine apart from the wireless how do i get drivers for that? when i plug in a lan cable i can connect to the internet bluetooth also seems to be working but not the wireless..
