HP told me it would cost $260 to replace the motherboard out of warranty. If you check the pdf guide, I think it has individual part numbers for you to order replacements, but I'm not sure what the process is. I think HP is the only place you'll be able to get a replacement (unless you want to search ebay or something for a 311 with a broken screen and salvage the motherboard).
