    Killed the WiFi?

    Hi,

I have a 110c and it seems I somehow disturbed the WLAN interface. When I turn it on the WLAN switch doesn't cause a change anymore it stays blue. Also it is not working anymore. The whole thing seems to have happened when trying to upgrade OSX.
Is there a way to do a 'factory reset'?

    Regards,

    Konstantin

A few questions first. What OS are you using? OSX? Windows? What do you mean by "factory reset"? You would like to reload Windows XP back onto your Mini?

    Re: Killed the WiFi?

I was using OSX at that time when it didn't work. I guess it screwed with the firmware of the wireless interface.
After reloading WinXP all is fine. Still disturbing somehow.

What I did was: Trying to upgrade to OSX 10.5.8 but had to try different versions of the driver no luck.
What got me to this post was: After the fallback to 10.5.5 where WLAN was working still no luck. Also the wlan switch would
not get the LED to amber.

BTW: The broadcom driver for Linux is rubbish as it does not support channels 12/13.

    Re: Killed the WiFi?

    Hi,

'ooops it did it again'. This time without upgrades no WIFI. Also when using Linux with the STA driver the card is not recognized.
I have yet to restore windows to see what is happening then.
When loading the broadcom sta driver I get a message about an interrupt changing but that is it.
Should I call it in for warranty?
