Aloha from Waikiki, Hawaii! I'm JonvK, new to this forum. I've used my HP Mini 210-1080NR since Jan 2011. Spent four months with it in the Philippines until mid-May. Had all sorts of issues with it and still have quite a few. I'm getting a memory upgrade to 2GB in a few days, hoping that will help somewhat. It just drags along when I open files. Constantly gives me the "lovely" (Not Responding) message when I open MS Outlook (version 2003), quite often when using IE7 (IE8 seems even worse). Often when typing the pointer jumps back a few characters, which makes mispelling and recorrecing the entry quite frustrating. (by the way, I'm not using my Mini to make this entry).
I sure would appreciate some suggestions from those of you who have had such problems and found solutions. I've also reinstalled the operating system and am using Windows 7 Ultimate, which did not resolve any of the issues that I had with Windows 7 Starter.
Thanking you all in advance. JonvK

Good morning from Chicago, Illinois, USA.
I just bought an HP Mini 110-3700 this weekend. Still not sure if I'll keep Win 7 Starter or switch to OS-X or Ubutntu but I hope to find the path to both here.

Good Morning to everyone,
I'm phophe and I'm from Spain. I have been recently in New York on holidays and I have purchased an HP Mini 311 1037NR with 3G module (hp un2400).
Despite the fact that I haven't had success setting up the 3G connection I am very happy with the purchase... I can even play CS:Source in high settings and HD at about 60fps and 20fps with too much grenades and enemies shooting.
Has someone had success setting up the 3G modem? I have tried VZ Access Manager that comes preinstalled by HP but I think that it's only for Verizon SIM cards. I tried also Mobile Partner from Huawei but only works with Huawei devices. Finally I managed to set up the windows 7 dial-up connection linked to my hp un2400 module but it hangs on user/password check.
I don't want to bore you with this so finally to conclude my introduction I will say that I'm IT consultant and that this is my third HP device (HP pavilion zd7010ea, HP DV6)
Regards from Spain and happy usage of your net/notebooks!!!
