Is there a way to get Internal Bluetooth in the Mini 110's? I don't believe they come with them. I'd much rather have a Internal solution rather than a External solution.

There is one empty mini pci-e slot internally that you could use.

You could also buy a combo wifi/bluetooth card to replace the stock one. For example:

Thank you for the help, but I know about the empty slot. But didn't the original 1000's have the dual bluetooth/wifi cards? That's something that I'm working for that will work with this computer without having to do too much modding such as the BIOS etc.

It seems to me that we have found the part number from HP but the problem is the part costs 62$. I was jumping around all over the internet to find the information. It looks like the part is the Azureware AW-BT252, which I can't find on eBay or anywhere like that. I have read that you can get them from ASUS but I don't know the price of it. I will be checking on that. It's separate from the free slot that we have, it's actually located right next to it. I will find out some more information.

Actually my Dell Studio XPS has a separate bluetooth Mini Pci-E card in it which I looked up the model number and found it on eBay for about $20. Its called the Dell TrueMobile 370. Ill pull it out of my notebook and try it in the mini tomorrow when I get home from work and let you guys know. It does require one antenna but it might work without it. I posted some pictures of the card.

it looks to me like the Azureware's internal bluetooth is a no go due to the boards being different on both the 1000 and the 110 series...
this is where the bluetooth is installed internally on the Mini 1000

this is the same area on the Mini 110 series.

they are both tottally different. it looks like going with the Mini 1000 internal bluetooth option is a no go unless someone has a picture of a place where the bluetooth empty connector is on the Mini 110. I don't have the tools available to take mine apart or else I would be doing this myself. It looks like we will be going the Mini Pci-E route but then again I would like to use that for quite possibly Mobile Broadband or something ...

So I tried my Mini Pci-e bluetooth card in the mini 110 and it will not boot up with it in. Apparently you have to use a compatible and approved broadband card in that slot. I also do not see a connector on the motherboard that would work with the Mini 1000 bluetooth adapter.

I found another interesting fact. The laptop blocks any kind of mini pci-e card that isn't approved.
I tried a Wimax and another Wifi card in the extra slot and received the broadband card error. Then I tried them in the stock wifi mini pci-e slot and got another error.
Looks like we will have to hack the bios to allow 3rd party cards.

Just what I had thought, it wouldn't work. The BIOS keeps it from allowing anything to go by... Also thanks for confirming that there isn't a slot for the internal bluetooth of the hp mini 1000. Looks like the only option we have is the Mini pci-e slot. Have you seen this video where he adds a 3G slot by adding a switch and tape up some pins?
