    HP Warranty

Ok so I need to get my mini 311 repaired... all of a sudden the gpu has started reaching temps as high as 85C idle... (never used to be this high)

It has cut off a couple of times (which i think is due to the heat) My question is will I be covered in warranty even though I have opened the back plate and added an extra 1gb of ram and that I did the cpu overclocking thing and also that i did that GPU mod to get it full ION rather than ION LE ?

    Re: HP Warranty

If it were me, I'd take the extra stick of memory out and flash the bios back to the factory defaults just to be safe. Also wouldn't be a bad idea to image your hard drive. HP, Dell, and others have a tendency to wipe everything from the hard drive in their attempts to fix an issue.
