    Hp mini questions..thanks :)

I have been a mac user for some time now. I was going to give my imac to my family to use, and just use the hp mini as my main computer seeing how i dont live with them. I pretty much will only use it for aim and web browsing and email, and maybe streaming music. Would the hp mini be fine for that? Thanks alot guys. Look forward to posting alot more on here!

Yeah, the mini would be perfect for that. If you travel alot, you should propably consider getting the 6 cell battery when it comes out. I came from a mac as well, the mini works really well.

You can run any program that's compatible with Windows XP on the HP mini. I personally don't use AIM, but I'm sure it will work on the mini. Yeah, whichever mini should be fine for just internet use (emailing, chatting, browsing, etc...) but if you are going to do anything else, you might want to get the 16gb version, or the hard-drive version. THe battery hasn't been released yet, so no one knows how much it is at this point.

The 16gb is about $400 dollars.
The 60gb version is about $450 US dollars.
The cheapest 16gb version is at Best Buy. 399 is pretty cheap for these things
