HP Mini in Portrait mode

I was thinking if my HP Mini netbook could do Portrait mode, who needs an iPad? So I searched for software that can turn the screen or browser 90 degrees on the Mini into Portrait mode. I searched some more. Turns out the HP Mini can already do Portrait mode without any software! Just hit Ctrl-Alt-Right arrow key. (Ctrl-Alt-Up arrow key to go back to Landscape.) Wow, didn't know it could do that. That's great!

Only problem is the cursor pad did not rotate. It is doing something strange in Portrait mode. Anyone have a solution?
