HP DMZ1 : SSD model

i asked HP the other day online and they say that 311 mini was replaced with the pavilion dm1z model. i don't know if HP just recently removed the SSD option on the DMZ1 models but it's gone from their website now. ???.. is the SSD option even better then the standard HD? i have the SSD 16gb and runcore SSD 64gb on my dell mini 9 and man! the runcore sucks real bad. but anyways that's a whole totally different company. I am looking to get one of these DM1Z because of it's size. not too big or not too small like my dell. 11.6screen size would be perfect for me. 4gigs of rams would be enough for windows 7?

what are the pros and cons about this laptop? i hear it over heats? please share me your experiences if you have owned one previous or current.

I have the dm1z k625 7200rpm 320gb hd. LOVE this machine. Would like some bios hacks, as I don't care for hp bios, but otherwise what a great machine. Heat is not a problem at all, these run reasonably cool, the fan blows all the hot air out of the left side, the air coming out is hot, but the machine stays nice and cool. The performance of the k625 option I bought is great. I highly recommend this little machine.
