HP 1120NR for $329 shipped at Target!

Newly released 1120NR model which is the 10.2", 16GB SSD, 1Gb RAM, and the Mi Linux O/S.

Currently on sale at Target.com for $329. I used a 10% off online coupon (just google it) so after shipping and tax, it came out to $328 shipped! This model is identical specs to the 1035NR model sold at BB for $399 (Target.com also carries this model for $399 too).

Either way, I've been waiting for price on the 1035NR model to drop but it never budged. But the newer model with a lower price tag is icing on the cake! No one else has the 1120NR at this price.

I am afraid you are a little confused:

The 1035NR has the 60GB HDD and Windows XP; you are thinking of the 1030NR which has a 16GB SSD and Windows XP.

It actually seems like the 1120 has the 10.1in screen. They also have a 1125NR which has the same exact specs but at a slightly higher cost.

I don't think they would be the "same exact" or they wouldnt have different model numbers, one probably has bluetooth or something like more ram, which might be important to some people. Just be sure to check facts before you say someting. Thanks for the info though.
Quad booting a HP Mini 1035NR /w 2GB RAM: Windows XP on 25GB, Windows 7 on 10GB, Ubuntu on 10GB, OSx86 on 10GB, Linux Swap on last ~1GB.

That would explain the cost difference then, you are paying more for the Vista license. On a side note they are putting Vista on these now? This is the first I have heard of this in the 1000 series. Interesting.

They are also selling it for the same price at Amazon with the 10.2in screen. And you can get free two day shipping if you use the free trial of amazon prime(or free 5 day shipping without it). I also got ram for $15 for a 2gb from amazon.

Yea you are right, it is the 1030NR I was really comparing it to on Best Buy's website (which coincidentally has that model reduced to $349). As for the specs, I got the 10.2" screen info from the 1035NR model offered on HP's store which is kind of weird because Best Buy's site has it at 10.1"? And also if you check on Amazon, it lists the 1120NR model with a 10.2" screen instead?

    Strange...some stores have 10.1", and others 10.2"!!!

In fact, JR.com's listing says both 1024x576 and 1024x600 in different places!

HP has made this whole thing so confusing by not distinguishing the different screen models with different numbers.

I ordered the one from Amazon and instead of getting a 512mb model with the 10.2in screen, I got the 1gb model with the 10.1in screen. Amazon said it could have been a shipping error on their part so they will send another one that I would get tomorrow. Now if it happens again what do you guys think I should do? Should I keep it or return it, spend the extra 50 and the the XP model with the 10.2in screen? I only ask this cause I hear some people were having problems getting certain software to work cause of the screen resolution(citing the software needs a min of 600px or something).
