    HP 1000 Cooling Pad??

I recently bought a HP Netbook and I love this little thing, but after an hour of use it gets hot underneath the touch-pad and memory stick. I was wondering if HP or some after market companies sold a cooling pad like they do for the larger laptops. Thanks.

Don't know if it is any good but maybe worth a shot.

wow you've never had an AMD laptop lol. or VIA C7. Now that is hot. as in burn your cajones.

why don't you tape a small pad to the area that is warm. i only found it to get hot when i put in 2GB of ram and moved to using ramdisk. then it was "WARM".

I can't really see how taping anything to the memory cover would help it in any way.
Cooling pads generally don't work. Save your money.

I use a cooling pad on my Dell Latitude D820 and it works great. Sucks all the warm air out from underneath and keeps it just above room temperature

Making a generalization about cooling pads not working is inaccurate, some pads are more effective than others.

That particular pad looks ineffective, but like others have said some do help. I had one for my old laptop, and it made the system run a tad bit cooler... plus it gave the laptop a little boost in the back so the keyboard was at an angle.
