Help - Mini 110 with Windows RC1 - Wireless not working

For those who have the new Mini 110 and have installed Windows 7 RC1 did you have issues getting your wireless connection to work right after the install was complete? I cannot figure out how to get the wireless to work. I have the latest driver so I dont think thats the issue, but the error message I keep getting when I go to check the driver is:

"The device cannot start (error 10)"

Any idea how to fix this issue?

OH.. and just to add to the weirdness, I still have my HP Mini 1120NR, with Win 7RC1, and the same driver and wifi adapter works perfect on that machine. So not sure why the same adapter and the same driver does not work with the samebuild of Windows RC on the new Mini 110..

That's weird; my 110's wireless worked right after installation.

Try uninstalling then reinstalling the wireless driver using Device Manager. The driver might not be loaded/installed properly while Windows was installing (or somewhere along those lines).

Yea I have done that. Uhg! Of course as soon as I got the 110 I installed Win7, so I didnt even try the wireless out on the MIE software. So now I am trying to either get MIE back on or Windows XP just to make sure the wireless works in the 110. If not, I guess I gotta contact HP support... again.

Build 7236 installed the WiFi drivers automatically and worked fine. Its possible there is a newer driver database in the newer builds of Win7 so you might want to try downloading a newer one. RTM is rumored to have been released today so that should show up on the internet soon.

HP doesn't have any Vista drivers for the WiFi but if you haven't already you could try manually loading the XP drivers.

I downloaded Windows 7 RTM today and installed it and it automatically loaded all the drivers. Wifi work good too.

For those that are trying the RTM versions of Win7, be careful of where you get it. All the ones out there are leaks, even if someone says RTM. Microsoft has yet to confirm RTM as of today, yet they are saying soon. Once the RTM hits TechNet and MSDN then that would be a good build to use.

Once Win7 is out, I full on plan on getting it installed on my Mini

I installed 7600.16384 which is a sub compile but close enough to the final RTM to see if it worked.

There is no way you could have installed 7600. Only the 64-bit version has been leaked, and minis are not 64-bit compatable.

32bit was also leaked last night which is what I installed.Ill take some screenshots when I get home if you need proof.
