Help with clean windows 7 install

I just got my mini 311 (model 1025-NR). It came with windows 7 preinstalled, but I always like to do a format and fresh install. I have a legit iso of Windows 7 Home Premium that used to create a bootable usb thumb drive with. I'm using an 8GB sandisk cruzer.

I can boot off of the the thumb drive just fine and start the windows 7 install process. However, after I click "Install now" it just hangs saying "setup is starting...". Has anyone else run into this issue? How are others doing fresh installs of windows 7? Thanks in advance!

Craig - coincidentally, I did a bios upgrade last night to version F.12 and tried the clean install just for kicks. After the bios upgrade I was able to install from my usb thumb drive, so if you have issues you might want to give that a shot.

Craig, you have a 1025-NR? This is the direct link to the Alps driver if that's the one you're wanting. It downloads for me.
    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45284.exe

This is the link to the the Alps driver for my 1030SA, it appears to be the same file number so should work on yours too.
