The boot failure probably has something to do with my usb cd/dvd drive. I use firefox because safari is laggy. The flash is horrible though. It works, but watching a youtube video is not going to happen for me. Not sure if this has something to do with not having ci/qe?

I just checked again, im running firefox 7, and no video plays, just sound. I will try and figure out why.

That's the problem I'm having. Just on the hackintosh though - it works on my MacMini and my MacBook (which the hackintosh is replacing). And only with FF 6/7. I've upgraded flash and shockwave, but no difference. Works in FF 3.6 And they said to disable acceleration, but I can't get the flash settings to appear to disable it. And the one time I did, I couldn't click in the settings box.

Also? Videos don't work in iTunes, but from what I can see, it's because of the Atom chip. (not fast enough), not for any other reason. Of course, like the youtube videos, the audio will play, just not video. If I use quicktime, it's fine.
    Thanks!

I tested the Opera browser, and flash works! Youtube videos seem to play just fine, performance gets iffy when video is in full screen.

From what I can find, even if a Kext for the 3150 is developed, the FS video could still be iffy. The Atom CPU just isn't fast enough. Still, for what it is? It gets the Job done.

And good to know about Opera. But my work only supports IE and FF, so.. I'll just run FF in 3.6 until there's a fix. It's not just Hackintoshes that are having that issue, so hopefully they'll get it fixed for all!
    Thanks!

I'm sorry to say, I didn't use the install you linked to and from what I could tell, 10.6.8 crashed my install. If you want 10.6.8 to work on the 3735DX you will have to write to someone more experienced than myself.
    Thanks!
