I have the hp mini 110 3009ca. Thats what the box said, bios says 110-3000ca
Anyways, I tried alot of various ways but they all failed. I couldn't seem to follow any of the guides here. I'm sure its not as good as a retail install for some reason, but I currently have mine running in a triple boot setup. Windows 7/snow leopard 10.6.6/backtrack(linux). I even did this all without having to lose my current windows setup. Basically just resized my windows partition to leave some unallocated space to format for my OSX installation. The key for me was using Hazards Snow leopard distro. Google it, the latest version. I don't have a dvd drive so what I did was (and im sorry, cuz this part uses a mac. I used a VMware on seperate PC) Anywho, basically I just restored the distro .iso file to the flash drive with disk utility and then installed chameleon bootloader onto the flashdrive to make it bootable. After that I could boot into the Hazards snow leopard 10.6.6 install dvd. In the install options. I really don't know. but all you really neeed is the sata fix thingy maybe? I really dont know, but play around with it. It's an easy way to get to 10.6.6 with little hassle.
If you have the AR9825 or whatever like I do, all I needed was to install a kext and it worked fine. Audio works, no QE.umm. as for sleep, I just disabled it altogether.
anyways, sorry for the ramblings. Im sure its possible though

Should be possible..
I had a long struggle installing Snow Leopard too.. With a lot of trial and error you will be able to install.
My tip: try 'bootflags': cpus=1 busratio=20 -v did magic on my 110-3101.
