Differences between the 110-1025DX and 110-1033CL?

What are the differences between the two models? Seems to be only the 3 cell battery versus the 6 cell battery.

It's hard to tell what exactly is the difference. But since I have the 110-1025DX I'll just share what I know about mine. There's not much differences between them I don't think. If I find anything I'll surely just edit my post.

160GB 5400RPM HDD
3 cell battery
1.6Ghz N270 CPU
1GB of RAM

Those are the same specs for the 1033CL... except for the battery that is a 6 cell.

I was actually on a chat with a HP sales rep asking the difference between the 110-1030NR and the 110-1033CL. They told me that they manufacture components at different places and when the components get updated, the part number changes too. It makes sense coming from a manufacturing environment. Keeps tracking of all the changes made.

Just received my custom HP Mini 110-1033CL customized directly from HP.

I have:
Intel Atom N280 1.66GHZ
1GB RAM
10.1" HD Screen
Broadcom HD video accelerator
3-cell battery

As far as different factories go, mine shipped from Shanghai, China.

So it seems that the are the same spec wise... just different cell batteries.

One last Q. I at one time had the HP Mini 1000 which had the glossy screen. Was the resolution better on the 1000 versus the 1025DX and what do most people seem to favor?

I'm not too sure. I know that mine has the 1240x576 screen. Which is a standard 10.1" screen. I believe for a little bit the HP Mini 1000 had a 10.2" screen with a resolution of 1240x600, not sure which model though. Another thing would be that the HP Mini 110 now comes with an optional HD screen with a resolution of 1366x768.

In canada at least I know for model numbers the 110-1030CA and 110-1033CL are the exact same computer except bundled with 3 cell or 6 cell. Don't know what 1025dx is missing. Maybe it could be something software related(not including some trial software)

All mini 1000 has a 1024x600 screen and mini 110 has 1024x576 screen with HD 1366x768 as an option. Though I hate how the only place I see that option is on HP US shopping site. Is it even possible to get one in canada?
