Did I Get Good Replacement Deal? Opinion?

So I currently own he netbook thats in my signature. The 1120NR. Due to some issues with it, HP has agreed to replace it with the new 110 MI edition, but they are giving me the higher processor, 1.66ghz Atom as well as the 6 cell battery, replacing the 3.

With that said, I will be missing the glossy screen of the 1120, but I am thinking the higher processor as well as the bigger battery is a better tradeo off. Now I dont have to worry about dust getting behind the screen... with me being anal I want to open up the glossy screen every day and get every spec of dust I see.

So, do you think I got the better deal here? Thanks!

I dont believe any stores have the HP Mini 110's in stock yet, do they? I would love to really compare the 2. I know its thicker but I would love to see it in person. It seems they cut some corners on this model. I almost wish I could just get the same system, but doesn't appear to be an option.

still trying to determine if I am getting a better deal by getting it my 1120 NR replaced with a 110 MI edition with the 6 cell battery and the 1.66 processor... Hmmmm

Well, the 'faster' processor is not going to make much difference (if any) in your day to day use. The better battery will be a plus. Also, you are prolly gonna wanna move to a different Linux distro, or just move to Windows altogether. But yeah, I'd say that you got a good deal all-in-all.

Thanks, yea I will put Windows 7RC1 on it, which is what I have on my 1120NR.

I am already missing the glossy screen and the over all thinness of the 1120NR, I am sure once I get the 110 in my hands and ship the 1120NR back, all will be well.

OH, one more question. Does anyone think I should of opted for the 160GB hd instead of the 1.66 atom processor??

I doubt I will need all the storage space since this is just a web machine, but I have Win7 on this thing now and only have 6 gigs left, with essentially nothing on it.
