No. We have integrated graphics (intel gma)Originally Posted by SPIDER00RR
However. You can purchase a Broadcom HD Accelerator BCM70012 / BCM70015 to get HD quality video playing on your 210 from eBay for about $40 shipped
The IGP is on-die with the atom processor and the mini PCIe port is only 1x lane(s).
I just ordered the Broadcom Hardware Decoder BCM970012. I will post the difficulty installing and result reviews as soon as I install it. Actually just got email that its been shipped. I purchased it from Logic Supply (http://www.logicsupply.com/products/bcm970012). So far I've upgraded to 2gb of ram and 500gb hard drive 7200 rpm. I will probably try a 4gb ram dim later. BTW just got my mini 3 days ago.
Don't waste any money upgrading to 4GB of RAM. Seeing as your newer to the forums, I'll give you a headsup.
1. The 210 mini can only utilize up to 2GB of RAM - it is limited by the motherboard.
2. If you install the broadcom drivers and arcsoft total media theatre, you will have no problems with installation.
3. 500GB harddrive is nice...But if you want a true upgrade the SSD route would be preferred. Improved response time and improved battery life.
4. If you don't have it already - I've heard really good things about the HD screen. I wish I had ordered it originally. It costs slightly less than $100 online. Another member here has setup a quick guide on how to replace it.
I finally installed the hd and the video accelerator and it all works fine. i will probably give this to my daughter and buy and HD one soon. Replacing everything was a snap. I also have Window 7 Ultimate on this.

If not - where did you buy an HD Screen, and was it simply plug and play?
Replacing a GPU on ANY laptop (integrated or not) is near impossible. You can forget about OSX (well at least GPU acceleration under it) but if you're willing to invest into your mini you can really make it run great. My mini:
210 mini HD
1366x768 resolution
2GB DDR2 RAM
Broadcom HD decoder (BCM70012)
40GB Intel SSD (X25-V)
Windows 7 Ultimate
This netbook FLYS, I run Adobe CS5 on it without problems and flash videos are smooth. I have a near maxed out 2010 i7 15" unibody Macbook Pro, and when I'm on the go, I find myself taking my HP mini most of the time. I wouldn't worry about OS X anyway, it's nice, but if you've used it for a while you'll find yourself liking Windows 7 more. There's nothing wrong with it but 10.5-10.6 is feeling pretty dated now. I'm even running W7 on my Macbook Pro most of the time (at least until Apple releases a hopefully fully refreshed OS X/10.7 -- hurry up already!!).
Did your mini 210 come with the HD screen - I really am considering upgrading...
