    2140 carrying case?

OK I was looking for a small case to carry my 2140 in for those running around town or trips when it's the only laptop I have to take (non-business). What is everyone else using or looking at?

    1. Wrong forum.
    2. The Official Hp mini 1000 case will probably work with the 2140 since they are both the same size lol

Edit: lol it seems we dont have an accessory section in the 2140 area. Ill ask Kevin to make one.
Edit2: Woot we got a new section

Just ordered this- the mobile edge mini messenger. $34- free shipping.

Looks good- I'll update when it arrives, likely Tuesday or Wednesday.

    Howdy,

I mostly plan to carry my 2140 around in other bags, but when I looked at the neoprene sleeves, they were no less bulky (and about the same price) than this more "standalone" case from Case Logic, model BUA10. It was 24.99 at the local Fry's. Looks like places like Amazon will sell it for 29.99 or so.

The only minor problem I might have with it is that the outer pocket has a magnetic closure which may or may not cause problems if you put it too close to something sensitive. I think I might cut mine out at some point. It does have a nice bit of volume so my 2140 with 6-cell fits in the main compartment, and a small pocket inside can accommodate the MS bluetooth mouse and such right in the gap under the battery. The outer pocket can carry the power supply if you choose to lug that around.

For the price, it does the job. I'll post more after I travel around a bit more with the 2140.

I picked up a Targu, almost like this one, at Microcenter for $19.99. I may still look into a sleeve for those times when I just want to throw it in a messenger bag.
