It was only a matter of time before the Airlife’s specifications would appear somewhere at HP.com. Hit the break for full specs and features.

According to the overview page at HP.com United States–which obviously suggests the Compaq Airlife will be available in the U.S in addition to Europe–the smartbook will have the following specifications:

• Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz CPU
• 512MB RAM, 512MB Flash memory
• 16GB Solid State Drive
• 10.1″ diagonal backlit TFT resistive touch screen (1024 x 600 WSVGA)
• 28 Wh typical Li-Polymer battery
• Android OS (with “Compaq touch experience”)
• SD slot supporting up to 32GB, Micro-USB port, Bluetooth and 802.11b/g WiFi

And there you have it: Qualcomm Snapdragon, Android OS and the touchscreen are the real pro’s. Apparently the Android OS will have some sort of custom “Compaq touch experience”, either user-interface or other features.
